As soon as Compare Suite opens folders it will notify you which folder is newer (date of creation). Content of the folders is marked with color. Thus, you will be able to see which files are entirely new, which ones have been amended and which ones are missing. This will give you a full picture of changes between the folders. If you are a project manager you can see what job has been done and what needs to be done. This is very convenient and time efficient.
Besides, you can edit contents of files in the folders, i.e. synchronize them so to say, or combine changes. Thus, if you click on the selected file with a right mouse button you will see the menu consisting of Copy/move to another side and delete file.
