When you are comparing files and folders you are primary interested in the results, but not in the process itself. Thus, you will certainly find info panel very helpful. As a rule, full comparison results are displayed in the report. However, if you need basic information on the files you may find it in info panel.
This panel contains information on the date and times files/folders were created, indicates which file/folder is older, shows similarity rate (in %), number of added, modified and deleted lines/words, total word count for both files etc.
Info panel offer basic statistic information on the compared file/folders. If you cannot find info panel then select “Info Pane” command in View — Toolbar menu.
