First of all you should use picture comparison mode (third icon from the lest under main menu). When the two pictures are opened in Compare Suite you will see changed or unchanged pixels, i.e. actually differences between image files.
At the same time you have got an opportunity to compare image file data. What kind of information is that? This is file size, canvas size, compression quality, info on bits per color, grayscale etc. Sure, this is not the most important information you can ever receive. However, you might be requested to get information on the picture files and perform relevant comparison. In this sense, Compare Suite is a perfect file compare solution.
Unfortunately, report option in not available in image comparison mode. At the same time you can make use of a commenting option, i.e. leave comments to certain lines to express you r viepoint or maybe give instructions to your colleagues.
