Compare files and directories from FTP server

In the latest version of Compare Suite comparison of FTP folders and files is supported. With this function one can compare files on local hard disk against files and folders located online on FTP server. To run the FTP comparison run new file or new folder comparison. Click "Select FTP Folder" button:

You will need to enter FTP login details.

Useful note:

• Once you have entered access details you can click "Build URL" button and then copy URL to use the same FTP parameters for future comparison.

Benefits of FTP comparison and synchronization

• You can synchronize local and remote (located on FTP) copy of the project;
• You can compare local copy against FTP copy to find difference;
• You can compare two FTP folders or two files located on FTP without necessity to download and manage them on hard disk manually.
