Generating reports

To represent the results of your comparison in graphic form you can use the report function of Comparison Chart. After adding all the necessary products, categories and data to your chart, select Main menu->Report->Preview.

In the window that opens you will be able to see what your report will look like. There is the report name, the author's name, all the report details and also the key. To change the report layout select Report->Report properties.

Reports are generated using as the data you put in as service information like the title, description, author and the scorecard column results.

You can generate a report on all the comparison table, as well as on selected parts only. Comparison Chart automatically detects the columns and rows without any data and omits them from the report. This spares you the necessity to delete blank lines and columns manually to make your report look more concise.

By default reports are exported to .html files, but you can also save them as .gif or .jpeg images.
