(1) Rapid ways to run Compare Suite

Let’s discuss some rapid ways to run Compare Suite program and compare files. Make sure you are using the latest version of Compare Suite (2.0)

Drag-and-drop

You can run comparison by simple drag-and-dropping of two files on Compare Suite’s icon.

Also, you can drag-and-drop two files on Compare Suite window.

Run last query

There is a F9 key in Compare Suite to run the last compare query. If you compared some files Compare Suite will compare them again.

(2) Compare Suite partnership

Compare Suite is a great utility, but it's main purpose is to compare files, not doing conversion job. Compare Suite's PDF2TXT converter is effective for easily structured PDFs, but the result of conversion of heavily structured PDFs is not very good.

AKS-Labs has released the version 2.0 of Compare PDF, a $30 product designed to help people comparing electronic documents.

Document comparison is necessary when people need to learn what changes were made in file's text and if the changes are correct. Word-by-word comparison is up to the task.

The basic and obvious ability to compare files word by word was developed for files that have a common ancestor. It is useful in a case you have two versions of the same document. Use word-by-word comparison to find out the number of changes, analyze if made changes are correct.
