When you create a backup file it’s some time very important to find out what files were modified and what files were deleted in the original folder. You need to compare source with destination before backup.
When comparing the current folders with backup ones you can decide what files need to be backuped, what files should be restored and what files need to be deleted.
Also, having the backuped version of the project you might need to recover some files. It’s easy task when you know what files were modified.
