I would like to use Compare Suite to compare RTF documents as part of a testing process. Can Compare Suite be used to compare RTF documents?
I have two problems at present:
1. If I take a Word document and save as RTF, Compare Suite will allow me to compare documents, but the comparison is in binary. Is it possible to register RTF as an MS Office file type?
2. I have an application that generates RTF documents. These open fine in Word or WordPad, but when I open the document with Compare Suite, the document is blank.

Not in this version. But RTF comparison is a good idea to work on in our future releases. For now I guess the only way is to save RTF documents as Word files and compare them. |
