Starting version 5.0 Compare Suite can compare Office 2007 files. The new version allows comparing not only files with extension .doc and .xls, but file of Office 2007, e.g. files with extension .docx and .xlsx.
As usually, Compare Suite uses a build in converter to transform .docx and .xlsx files into the plain text and then do the comparison. In this way files of Word or Excel can be compared to files of other types, for instance to the web-page. |
