Hi,
In simple words, YES you can! If you have Compare suite version 5.0 and above, you can perform regular comparison functions on any DOC or DOCX file. Not only will version 5.0 provide you with robust support for word 2007 (DOCX) files, it will also allow you to compare other office 2007 format files like .XLSX format excel files also. For comparing DOCX and XLSX files with like ones, Compare suite converts these files to normal plain text and then performs the comparison. Doing so not only allows this file compare utility to compare DOCX and XLSX files, it also enables compare suite to compare these files with files of other formats like web pages and normal DOC/XLS files too. |
