I have converted some documents from .pdf to .doc format using Text Recognition Software. Though the operation was successful the .doc document now looks very different from the original .pdf file. It has completely different structure and I want to make sure that all the text was recognized and converted properly. And it is hard to do manually by comparing sentence by sentence. Can Compare Suite compare MS Word document converted from .pdf file to the original .pdf file?
Thank you for answering.
Using Compare Suite you can compare documents in different formats including .pdf and .doc. The main problem with files processed with OCR is they usually have the structure different from the original. And it can be difficult for the program to make the correct comparison of document having different structure because the program may consider different structure as different text. I recommend you to read the article about Comparison of documents with different structure and pay attention to suggestions. One of our users had a similar task. |
